My name is Riley, but if you've made it here you probably already know that. When I was five years old, I began saying I was going to be an entomologist. Now, two decades later, I am proud to say that dream has become a reality. I am currently working as a PhD candidate in the Washington State University Entomology Department where I am studying methods of improving pollination in vegetable seed and the biological control of small hive beetles (Aethina tumida).Outside of my research, I enjoy collecting insects, rearing invertebrates, macrophotography, and growing plants.
